The name comes from 寂 (jaku) — not stillness as something you hold onto, but the quiet that settles after everything else has already gone still.
It's the same character found in wabi-sabi, describing a calm with depth to it, the kind that lingers rather than announces itself. This is the piece for warm days and slow mornings, when the point isn't to be seen, but to feel at ease.
Front and back both speak the same language, just differently — one in words, one in texture.
